In addition to this feature, we are excited to share that our project will be highlighted in the upcoming issue of the STIR® newsletter. STIR® is Sherwin-Williams' award-winning e-newsletter that explores the connection between color and cutting-edge design. It examines the many facets of color to help professionals bring a fresh perspective to their work.
For this design, we used Sherwin-Williams Naval (SW 6244) for the cabinet frame and paired it with Sherwin-Williams Dress Blues (SW 9176) on the panels. The result? A layered, dimensional look that adds depth and character while keeping the design cohesive. The interplay of these two deep blues showcases how mixing multiple shades within the same color family can create a dynamic yet harmonious effect—one that feels both intentional and effortlessly stylish.
Tone-on-tone designs are a fun way to add complexity without overwhelming a space. By playing with subtle variations in hue and finish, we achieved a sophisticated, custom feel that enhances the cabinetry’s architectural details. This project is a testament to how strategic color choices can transform a kitchen into a stunning focal point.
